Lawcus Invoice Enhancements

We're looking to improve Lawcus billing process, and we've identified a couple of key pieces of information that would really help us track invoices more effectively.
Currently, the app don't have a record of when an invoice is sent directly from Lawcus, or who sent it. This makes it tough to follow up accurately and communicate with clients.
Would it be possible to add the following fields to the 'Invoices' tab?
- Date and Time Sent: This would automatically capture the exact date and time an invoice is sent through Lawcus.
- Sent By: This would automatically record the name of the user who initiated the send.
Having these two basic fields would significantly boost our ability to manage our accounts and ensure timely client communication. Could we explore getting these implemented?

Thanks for helping add the new fields under the Billing tab.
In addition to the current setup, we’d like to request an improvement to how payment activity is tracked. Right now, the system is only recording when an invoice is sent. However, in many cases, we process a payment (either from our IOLTA account or another payment method) and then send the paid invoice to the client — but this activity doesn’t appear to be logged. The Last Sent By and Last Sent Date is blank.
We’d like the system to also record whenever a payment is processed, regardless of whether the invoice was previously sent. Ideally, it should track:
- The date the invoice was sent
- The date the payment was processed
- The payment method used (e.g., IOLTA, check, credit card, etc.)
- The date the paid invoice was shared with the client
This will help us easily run a report with a complete billing history and improve visibility over client communications and payment activity.

Mary Joy Rumbaoa What is ur ideal Process. We do should Payments applied on the Invoices at the Invoice level. Are you referring to the Invoice History Report ?

Vinny R Here's the process we do in our firm:
- For fully paid invoices and for partial payment using IOLTA: we want it to show as paid after we process the payment. Then, see who send it and when it was sent under the billing tab.
- For unpaid invoices: We usually send it via email so we would love to see see who send it and when it was sent under the billing tab. Ideally, a column that shows when it was paid. Seeing this in the billing tab would be great.

Also, having partial payments under a separate tab is pointless. These invoices should be the with the other "sent" invoices for easier tracking.
Another function that would be more efficient is if the invoices were processed in a batch to be reviewed in a separate window all at once. Having to open each one individually is time consuming.
