Previously, we were able to select and export a larger number of matters at once without being limited to 100 matters. The current 100-matter export limit has made our reporting process significantly more time-consuming, particularly when we need to pull reports containing a large number of matters across multiple practice areas.

We would greatly appreciate it if Lawcus could restore the ability to select and export more than 100 matters at a time, ideally without a selection limit, as we were able to do previously. Having to export matters in batches of 100 and then combine the files manually adds several unnecessary steps to what used to be a much simpler process.

We are also experiencing an issue with the format and organization of the exported files. Ideally, the exported file should mirror the way the matters are displayed and grouped within Lawcus.

For example, if I filter matters by practice area and group them by practice area in Lawcus, I would expect the exported file to retain that same organization. Currently, when I export Probate matters, the matters themselves may appear first while the corresponding practice area information is listed toward the end of the exported data. This makes the report difficult to read and requires us to manually reorganize and correct the exported file.

This becomes especially challenging when exporting matters from multiple practice areas at once, as we then have to manually determine which information belongs to which group and restructure the spreadsheet after every export.

If possible, we would like to request that Lawcus:

Remove the 100-matter selection/export limit and restore the previous bulk export capability.

Restore the previous export structure and formatting, where the exported file more closely reflected the list displayed in Lawcus.

Preserve grouping in the exported file, particularly when matters are grouped by fields such as Practice Area.

Ensure that the exported data is properly aligned so that each matter's information, including its Practice Area, appears together rather than requiring manual reorganization after export.

The previous export functionality was much more efficient for reporting purposes, and restoring it would save a considerable amount of time, especially for firms managing and reporting on a large number of matters.
