If we could have the option to have an automation assign a task to a client instead of just to staff, then it would help clients to stay on track and improve the functionality of the client portal and help clients look to the portal as the central hub for their matter instead of still looking to emails. For any practice area with set steps, documents, or processes that involve client participation assigning and reminding clients to tasks would be huge.

When an appt is changed as far as changing whose calendar it appears on or the date/time being changed the system should make an automatic note as to who made those changes. We have issues where if an appt is moved, and someone forgets to notate it, we cannot track who made those changes. If it shows who created the event, it should show who changes it.

Allow the addition of the Firm email field from the Firm Company information to invoice template header. Add Firm website field to Firm Company information and allow it to be added to invoice template header. Also add a second street address field to company information for long addresses so they will display better on the invoice template header. e.g. allow a second field for the company's suite #. Alternative would be to just put text boxes in the invoice template header and allow the user to type in any information they want.

Please add the ability to filter invoices based on the Billing Type of the associated matter (e.g., Hourly, Flat Fee, Contingency, etc.). The Invoices page currently allows filtering by Invoice Type (Trust Balance, Credit Request, Invoice), but it does not provide a way to filter invoices by the billing type assigned to the matter. As a result, users who need to report on or export invoices for a specific billing type must export all invoices and manually review each one to determine whether it belongs to a Hourly or Flat Fee matter.

I would like to see the task and subtask fields automatically expand as you type, up to twice its default height. Once the field reaches the maximum expanded size, it will stop growing and show an internal scrollbar so you can continue writing. And include an Expand View option, allowing you to open the task or subtask in a larger editing view when you need more space to review or update longer content. This is exactly how the description box operates currently and it would be nice to have tasks and subtasks have this functionality as well.
